Access to Care

Kids need care to develop and to both learn from and overcome mistakes they make.

Care means that we must remember that kids are kids and that programs, policies, and services need to be developmentally informed.

Care means having access to quality education and health care.

Care means recognizing that many kids have been through really hard things in life so programs, policies, and services need to be trauma informed.

Care means having access to mental and behavioral health services.

Care is in action, interaction, and process.

Care builds resilience and resilient kids thrive.
